Welcome to my Blog about 54mm or 1/32nd scale Star Wars figures.
When I was a kid I used to play with 1/32nd scale toy soldiers, then the Star Wars action figures which I still have to this day. But prior to 2004, with a few exceptions, there was no company out there who put those two wonderful things together.
Fast forward err quite a few years and I started picking up a few figures here and there as they became available. However collecting SW in 1/32nd scale can be a bit of a challenge. While there are a number of good sources of figures out there they tend to be discontinued quite quickly and you needed to rely on the secondary markets. Once you’ve amassed the usual/ typical figures it can get a bit more interesting hunting down additional figures to expand your collection.
Fast forward a few more years and my son has started taking an interest in things Star Wars so back to the collection we go!
The focus of my collection is not to be a completionist and chase down every single figure out there (how many darth vaders does a collection really need) but rather to try and a decent representation of as many characters as I can.
I’ll be posting pics as I go but in the meantime here’s a good run down on some of the figures out there:
