My
(current) understanding of this scale is that a figure is a 32nd in
size of a roughly 1.7m to 1.83m person.
This would make 1/32 scale figure between 53mm and 57mm from foot to top
of head. Makes sense some people are
taller than others.
Most SW
figures that are around this size are roughly 50mm to 60mm in height. What
makes different figure lines work together is the heft of the figure. So some
SW command figures are a decent height and scale but are not hefty enough to
work well with the larger unleashed battlepacks. But deagostini and unleashed
figures work well and provide a good foundation for a collection. For my collection I think roughly 1/33rd to 1/30th scale is a good fit I think depending on the heft of a figure. So anything roughly between 51mm and 61mm should work out ok.
For future
scale comparisons I’ll be using the Boba Fett figure made by deagostini as a
bench mark (if I remember to). The figure is standing fairly straight, is a
good heft, height and is 1/31st in scale (59mm).
